Lol Che Guevara was Argentinian, by the way. In the beginning his views were mostly idealistic. In Motorcycle diaries, though a bit exaggerated, or not so. His initial voyage was that to save lives, be innovative, and help people. During the part where he became a war icon in Cuba, where he ventured to fight the already oppressed people, but not by Fidel, but by Bautista. He was revered there, and basically played second fiddle to Castro. (Revered by some, only to betray a lot) It is said when he wanted to 'revolutionize' other South American countries he used slightly different tactics and wasn't the calm little doctor boy he was in his earlier years. The ones you see him as, the ones where he gives speeches in United States. He had a warped sense of things, yes he showed to be iconic, and perservered, but only to exchange with a bit of monster of his own. A lot of political reform, and a lot of war crimes committed under Che's supervision. IT's a big slur of things. Che did what needed to be done, in a time, but the new government was a disguised Bautista government. Probably worse. Cuba has a history of Dictatorship. The Bay of Pigs, CMC, were all product of what happened in Cuba from the 50's to mid 60s. Che was a figure to some, and a bad guy to others. He also had a bit of a more Nazi way of going at those that violated 'law', with his firing squad. None were exempt. It didn't matter who you were, you fucked with the government at the time, you faced the wall. It was actually considered a genocide. Some people say that you took out one devil, just to bring in another, Bautista/Castro. He lead a lot of rebellion. He wasn't really someone you tell your kids to be like, let's just say that. He murdered people, lol.
