Serious question: Would that be such a bad idea? A year-round league broken up by occasional site-wide open tournaments?
I'd love to hear anyone weigh in on this. Would that prove a disincentive to competing regularly or showing up? That'd be my biggest worry, that no-shows and not voting would be far more common because wins would not be as important.
