it's the digital age, where location doesn't matter as much and relocation isn't as necessary to explore options... tenure has definitely been droppin in correspondence with barriers to entry.

specialization in an evolving fields is a primary contributor; figure out how to figure shit out, and you can surf this down economy wave...
