If I take the picture no matter who it's of its my property and I can then do what I want with it

If a pic is online and its not copywrited then its public property

For example if you copy and paste a Getty image you are breaking the law but if you copy and paste a pic that was posted freely online their is nothing that can be done


Websites like Facebook and Tiny pic have disclaimers because people have accounts but if any person posting any pic doesn't have it copywrited then they can't do shit

It's like finding money on the ground no one can ever prove it was theirs

I own the camera I own the image if the photo was taken in public no matter what or who's it's off ( with some small exceptions like military bases )

Why do you think tabloids offer free lance photographers a ton of money for hard to get pics

The only time a celeb has to give permission for their image to be posted is it they own the property in this case a photo

Now if someone is using that photo for false advertising and monetary gain then that becomes a whole different law suit

That whole rap basement thing is fake ... Fifty has sued many of people for using his trademark and likeness without his permission key word is trademark

dude like I said, you have the god given right to take pictures and sell it to who ever, it's then their responsibility what they do with it, but don't for one second think you can use that picture however you please, I actually contacted hostgator on RIA and netcees, and they said they would have no choice to shut them down if I contacted the police, but then I wasn't going to make a big stink out of it.

I contact the hosting company, and subpenoe them, they have to give over the sites info or they are liable.
2nd, I subpenoe the site owner, and they have to give up the users info, they can repeal and file a jurisdiction counter.
but the way i can get around that is say that jurisdiction is publicly displayed on profiles, and they knew what jurisdiction they delt with before hand.
srsly, if you ever get a DCMA notice, comply, or you'll have to deal with unnecessary court fees.
