Because what you said has no scientific basis, also there being no predetermined destiny means 'running your course' is null and void, cancer is no different than any disease, so by your reasoning we shouldn't even have hospitals at all, people with heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, etc have all run their course if what you said is true.
