Marines have been in service since the time of the greeks you fucking moron. We INVENTED special ops. How the hell are we based of the british model? A british sniper holds the longest kill shot...so FUCKING WHAT. We train the god damned snipers...we literally wrote the damn book on it. Snipers were tasked by AMERICANS during the REVOLUTIONARY war where we used them to pick off British officers. The current sniper training and doctrine was created and trailblazed by a US Marine. Talk marksmanship? RMC trains from 50 out 300 something meters with optics, and require a 51 percent hit rate to qualify. Marine Corps range starts at 200 out to 500 with iron sites and 80 percent to simply pass. (I'm a triple fucking Expert btw) There has been a head to head marksmanship competition between the two services for 20 years...the RMC has won ONCE. The sniper that made that shot was excellent...but we have entire teams of scout snipers with the same capability.

They don't train anywhere twice as long...32 weeks, but the first 4 are spent learning how to wash your dick, and you don't even get a rifle until you're about to graduate. Marines prize effective training from beginning to end. BOOT is 13 weeks...you don't make the fleet Marine Corps until you go through at least 2 more training cycles following boot. Either ITB or MCT, then further combat arms training for your specific weapons systems, or tech school if you're poging it through. Which still requires combat arms training every 6 months to a year.

You're a fucking retard...SAS and SBS were formed into a special ops command unit, ala SOCOM in 1950. The first EVER special operations unit was formed in WWII by the US and Canada. That is fact. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about kid...I provided BRITISH video highlighting the superior marksmanship training of USMC already. You state that our spec ops is based on the british Model, when the Brits didn't even have a spec ops unit until nearly 10 years after we started doing it.

If you really wanna get into it, the tacatics and objectives the SAS used when first formed, before they were disbanded and formed again, had already been Pioneered by American Guerilla warfare during the revolutionary war. They were called RANGERS...as in US Army Rangers who served in some form historically in every US conflict not specifically spear headed by Marines.
