macklemore isn't mainstream

son didn't even have a label backing him that was big. lol son dropped some independent shit that just found it's way on the radio cause son don't try to be some fake trap star from Compton. he's just a normal dude tryna change culture. there ain't nothing mainstream to it, he just raps on beats that don't sound like a rip off of J Dilla/ Tribe/ etc.
