Yhey took that and applied to EVERYONE WHO CANT SHOOT FREETHROWS.

WAS THAT A STRATAGY BEFORE HIM?

WAS THERE A HACK A MAGIC?

OR HOW BOUT A POKE KAREEM?

come on man
my point is, Hack a Shaq didn't start with Shaq

it started way before him bro

it was coined because of the clutch situation it was used in, it was a key moment in the playoff. the media nicknamed it

but it wasn't invented with Shaq

Shaq shot under 50 % from the line, Of course there was no hack a Magic? why would there be? wasn't he +80 career from the line? Why would you foul him?

Shaq came in the league when bigs dominated. He was the most dominate during his time for sure, but bigs already were dominate, and he only played around the rim.

he was just a freak of nature thats all.

changing the game is like when AI made combo guards the popular thing to do, from a personnel and strategical standpoint.
