NBL XV RULES & REGULATIONS

Welcome to another season of NBL.

My name is Zuch, and I will be hosting this year.

Zuch is pronounced Zooch. This is the only time I will tell you. I would like to avoid ERUPTion.

My goal this year is to run a league that has MINIMAL no-shows, and good voter turn-out.

Why not “great” voter turnout?

Because there’s no such thing faggots. Prove me wrong and I will literally suck your dick.

Rules


The season will be 12 weeks. Champ matches will come to fruition week 4.

Each week you will be matched up with someone who has a similar record as you. Duplicate opponents will be avoided as much as possible. So if your record has you matched up with the same opponent 2 out of 3 weeks, I will adjust it so it doesn’t happen.

Line limits:

Minimum: 10
Maximum: 16

These line limits are the same for Champ matches. We are trying to get VOTES and SHOWS. Short and sweet but not TOO short. We all love reading good verses.

No biting

No recycling

Pic battles are allowed if agreed upon between competitors. This does not apply for champ matches OR playoffs, though..

What is the point of a Champ match?

Good question. You get an accomplishment. That’s really all that is. There WILL be playoffs based on a point system via algorithm. Playoff champ gets a thread, ANOTHER accomp, and UserName will LITERALLY suck your dick.


Algorithm, you say? Boy, math is HARD

Math IS hard. Your ranking will be based MOSTLY on wins and losses. You will get 5 points for a win. You will receive 1 point for a loss, as long as you show. 0 points if you don’t show up at all. You will receive 1 point if you vote on every battle that week. If you don’t want somebody to get an extra point on you just for voting, then you can ALSO vote on every battle and nobody will gain ground on you.

Blue Bayou battles MCStripedTiger and wins. Blue Bayou votes on every open battle for the week.

UserName battles SirDixalot and wins. User eats his computer and does not vote on all battles.

Blue Bayou - 6 points
Username - 5 points

It’s simple, really. No negotiation, just vote and show up and you can stay in the playoff hunt for longer.

Who makes the playoffs?

There will be 8 spots for the Playoffs, based strictly on points.

HOWEVER

There will be a play-in battle before this is set in stone. Seeds 7 & 8 will battle seeds 9&10 for the last two playoff spots.

Seeds 9 & 10 will NOT be based solely on points. It will be based on that AND how many weeks they showed up, along with voting habits. So vote.

Battles will go up soon. Maybe over the next week, 10 days from now at the latest.

Votes will not be hidden like pic league.

There are no archive sub forums or battle forums. Everything will be right here. Less clicks, more views, etc.

This will be the centerpiece of my league. Mags will be WEEKLY. They will be up the SAME day every week. They will be very good.

What is a gunbar royale

Oh, you saw that? Nice. Gunnar Royale is a 1-2 cypher where it’s strictly gun bars. You can post ONE gun bar per week. It will get a mag feature and accomp for best gun bar. It’s time to get rewarded when the Mac spits.
