i think you're missing the sentiment?

i like fights where the fighters actively seek to finish the fight. i understand the skill involved with usman controlling that fight the way he did and imposing his will on masvidal. it was a clear 4-1 in my opinion. that doesn't make it entertaining though. his will wasn't to stop masvidal, but to not let masvidal stop him, and win on the cards.

bravo you're still champ. but you won no fans. you ran the ball on every 3rd down and played good defense. congrats
