So I guess yesterday you decided this life's not worth living...
All I got to remember you by is darkened streaks on the bathtub forever dyed crimson Ash residue from your last cigarette drowning in the bloody waters A barbaric ending, like something out of an Anne Rice novel your favorite author All I feel is anxiety kicking cans in the pit of my stomach.. As I think of that last breathe leave your rosy lips...can we switch up the subject!? I've punched these walls until these swollen fists stopped screaming your name I bet you neglected the falling dominos and how you'd inflict hurt while releasing your pain I've dug my knees into the asphalt and asked god a thousand questions Tears pelting the ground like rain, irises drowning and clouding my perception My black suit, contrasted by the single red rose that I laid upon your grave One look at it and I have to swim to shore submerged in the blood of your gushin veins At your funeral I couldn't help but curse you, for your cowardice way of hurtin' me Instead of standing on your own two and carrying yourself, now I have to drag your burden Behind me for eternity |
