Sup netcees sorry I'm a little late here for the mag looks like we already got two pre-mature ejaculations here but well get into that a little bit later. Hope everyone and their families are staying safe from this BS, I included some George Carlin to try to ease your mind, clearly going to be more entertaining than this mag is but hey I still put it together read it if you'd like. We had some good showings last week and few "uh yeah we knew that was going to happen" things going on. Voting still deteriorating around here, that needs to be stepped up. @Blue Bayou should be pushing a "Must vote in the 1-2 Playoffs to participate in the NBL", but hey its whatever were still doing our thing here. ~Playoffs - Round 1 Reviews~



Round 1: Inno vs Machete Jo

Honestly thought Jo was a troll attempt that fucking wordplay was like Sinacog and a text baby with Barcotic, horrible...Inno did he thing was a little soft on the punch at the end but hey he did enough to take the win and KO'd Jo 5-0

Round 1: Allen Knight vs Plot

[i]Big upset here for sure on this one I feel AK was a bit more creative but Plot was too slick to pass up the wording the image detailed here and yes I have seen the concept before but not for a while and not like this. Flow was on point big time and did enough to get the upset win over AK in 8-2 Victory.[ /i]

Round 1: Destroyer vs Kill Spree

This was one of the ones that didn't get the votes that was needed end in a 3-1 Win for Des. Probably not by any fault of his own but feel like after Barcotics post step by step break down of the 2 bars, shunned everyone away maybe just a bit or could just be voting sucks. But I do feel like the right person won, the spree well/choke flipped worked and was done different than Ouchs bar but was dangerously close to a bitin concept.

Round 1: Slecht vs Habitat

Another one that came down to the wire here and needed some more attention but hey that's just how it goes sometimes and I believe these guys know that already. Both had a decent showing concepts a little bland, I mean I'm so tired of hearing about this virus everywhere that seeing a bar about it even in such a good way kind of made me feel, meh about it. Habs wording on his second line threw me off at first read and really never got it, I got the concept of course I mean I never understand the reason for his choice of words. Anywhot this battle closed out at 4-2 with Slecht becoming the victor and I would say for sure an Upset victory here.

Round 1: FGR vs Blue Bayou

This was a wild one for sure idk about the deleted post thing I never saw it, I'm sure it was there and not sure how much that really plays into the battle or not. But FGR was good here and made a good attempt at taking out Blue especially after seeing the line he dropped. Im sure he figured he had it in the bag. IDK ending this in 4-3, a little crazy. I mean I know I didn't vote but there was plenty other people that participated in this season of 1-2 that could've should some respect and got this a at least by 2 winner. Too me Plots fucking drunk ass vote didn't count. Well whatever I'm glad FGR didn't have a melt down about it, props for taking the L and waiting for your next chance, Blue moves on 4-3.

Elite 8: Barcotic vs Destroyer

Battle is already under way and under scrutiny, what else do you expect from a destroyer and barcotic battle, lol fuck me. Gl to you guys, Ill drop my vote in the next couple days.

Elite 8: Blue Bayou vs Slecht

This one should be good, I honestly thought I would see FGR go farther than his fellow RB brethren but looks like Slecht came to battle. Good shit. But I feel Blue notices the same and will come with a banger here, I mean he has to, cant follow a Cum line with some BS Trash. I see Blue taking this in the end.

Elite 8: Plot vs Flow

Interesting battle here, hopefully Flow doesn't get no showed this time again Plot has a track record of doing so. Its only 1bar so I expect him to show. Even if so sometimes when Plot of up against bigger named/Higher Tier I wouldn't say he chokes because Plot is a good writer I just feel he tries too hard conceptually and it doesn't come out right or the wording is off. I see Flow taking this one in the end.

Elite 8: Inno vs Cashius

Whoa Inno has came along way and by no means do I or did I think of him as a rookie just not too too active in the 1-2 and reg battle seen, appearances in tourneys has been more of his style but he sticks around and knows the ins and outs which I feel has got him this far and props for that. Unfortunately I see this being the end of the road for him here. Cashius is vicious and unpredictable and I expect to see him in the Finals. Got cash in this one. gl fellas

This was a pretty dope finals here with our very own 1-2 Mod @INF being in this one both came with a decent flip seen MRI lines used before but was worded well. Resin came out swinging though literally I liked the arms swinging / hypnosis flip for sure. It seemed like in the end everyone else felt the same way and Resin walked away in a 4-1 Victory with a little drama attached lol. Good shit INF

IT’S A WEEKLY LEAGUE, WHICH WILL HAVE ITS FIRST CHAMP DECLARED NEXT WEEK, IT’S A SHORTER FORMAT THAN WE’RE USED TO SEEING SET AT A MAX OF 30 LINES, AND THERE’S ALSO WRITING CHALLENGES ANYONE CAN PARTICIPATE IN IF THEY DON’T WISH TO COMMIT TO TAKING PART WEEK IN, WEEK OUT. What did you think about this season so far and who did you see as a front runner in the beginning?
