You’re like glass under pressure cracking till it shatters, somewhat incomplete, yet somehow outlasting,

You’re fragile and missing, tested and persisting, I can't take a breath or resist reminiscing,

And more often than not you’ve slipped up at the top of the mountain you’ve propped up with thoughts soaked with sin,

Now I’m choking on gin, no more tonic to spin this delusional mind ripping me limb from limb,

So I can't help but think that you’re broken and sinking cause the ship of your life has more holes than I'm fixing,

I see that your soul has grown cold from subsisting, the hope’s gone from your eyes, all that’s left is persisting.
