I actually got back into guitar pretty heavily back at the start of 2018. My problem is that most of the music I enjoy isn't very guitar heavy, so most of my inspiration is basically instagram musicians...

I fuck with CHON, but I've never heard of the other guys. I'll def check them out. But I have the same problem where so much guitar driven shit just sucks to me, musically. Like, too much technique and not enough of a tune to engage the listener

That's why I'm trying to find a balance in what I write. It's annoying sometimes tbh
