Tell this junkie he isn't clever, give u a dose of reality u haven’t seen in forever
The way he’s gettin tortured by a pig.. they’ll need jigsaw to put the pieces together

(Pretty good. Tortured by the pig not the craziest flip but solid. Crisp wording elevated this punch. Coulda used maybe one or 2 tie ins in the set up but as is, this is apunch landed)

You think u hard now? Calm down. step off the stage - ur gettin tossed out
I’ll have the steel in ur face w two blades on ya back.. let’s see if u Kabal now

(Good line. My only critique with this line is I think if a gunbar/knifebar isn’t straightforward, you need to paint the scene in the set up. So in this punch - you only got two hands so you gotta pain the scene of how you got there. Anyways on the positive note, the flip itself was fire. Also you ended the punch well. I think it’s great writing when end the punch without leaning on the word like. The you kabal now isn’t a crazy flip or wordplay but it’s a very clever way to end the punch)

I got a pump for u & ya thot. U won’t know what to do when it pop
Either ur gettin cooked by the heat.. or I’m raisin on ur girl like a Sunmaid box

(Similar feed as the first bar. Wording is crisp and precise. The flip is clean - not the craziest flip but still very solid. If I’d never I’d never seen a raisin flip this mighta hit heavier but as is, it’s a solid punch)

Is u a dummy? U stole Jabs swag n thought it was on the money
Soon as we saw u Jack Black style we knew u were just actin’ funny

(Pretty good angle. It was used against him last week but still pretty fresh. I think the Jack Black style flip was nice. Ended the punch well. Overall good line)

You dickridin’ vets r the worst. He’ll put on the jets wen the fire burst
First I’ll aim it at ya back, then im leavin’ a 40 in the disc like a Bayou verse

(Lmao we both leaving 40s I’m discs this week. This is dope though. The discussion/disc flip is clever af. The wording is very crisp. This was dope)

So this is your hero? Tell ol’ Dudley do right I’m slidin on his bitch fast
It’ll be the long nose.. holdin ur girl hostage on the metal like Snidely Whiplash

(This was okay. The concept had a lot of potential but lacked execution a bit. This tour hero pretty good tie in. I followed you up to “it’ll be the long nose”. “Holding your girl hostage in the metal is where the execution fell apart a bit. I get the tie her to the train tracks/snidely whiplash meaning but are you saying you’re using a gun to hold her hostage what?)

If y’all thought he was poppin shit.. u’ll change ur mind wen I put a stop to it
soon as you try releasing a Dummy, Boy you’re endin’ up in prison like Tekashi did

(Clean flip, this is pretty solid. Dummy boy flip was clean, but like a few of your earlier punches, just missing that extra “wow”/haymaker factor. Punch works since you’re a cop. Wording is crisp. Pretty good)

Aiyyo
He bit tsu surf lines, I see u browsin.. other rhymes is what he be downin..
Z be scroungin.. his verses have that meltdown and cop look that can rival the t1000

(Lol i think this went over heads cus this is pretty nice. You set the punch up very well with crisp wording. I think the meltdown and cop/t1000/steal a bar flip was clever af. That phrase “meltdown and cop look” doesn’t flip perfect both ways but it’s very close. This was a strong opener)

Listen here Clefanie I’m seriously sick of your shit thinkin ur bitten disses will hit..
what u spittin aint lit, lookin like u came straight outta 8 mile with that lip as lickety split.

(Clefanie got a chuckle outta me. But the lip as Lickety split kinda doesn’t work. Im assuming you’re saying his lip is split so it’s like “lickety” is just randomly in there to make the punch land. Your wording and flow prob saved this from being a complete miss but I’ll say it’s prob okay at best.)

You aint standing tall. Think evolution as the revolver spray and i land it allll..
this man’ll crawl.. so when u see the Cro Mag rise it’ll be the end of this neandrethal.

(I think standing tall is good tie in l. Man’ll crawl is another good tie in. Two problems with the punch: not sure what the second meaning (non cave man meaning) of cro mag is. Feels like you mean “the mag rise” but you have “cro” just hanging there with no double meaning. Then the fact that revolvers don’t have mags is the other issue. Had a lot of potential. The flow and wording makes it enjoyable to read but I’m not sure it works unless I’m just missing the punch)

Res is gon give YOU the business, leave u bruised cuz this 1-2 is rude & vicious..
im leavin dude in stitches.. sock you into next week like you were really fuckinn superstitious.

(I could be missing the bar here but ima give feed as if I’m correct in what I’m assuming. The rhyme scheme, flow, and wording all top notch - really makes it enjoyable to ready. I’m assuming sock you into next week is a punching/wearing a stitches sock overnight flip, right? If so the phrase “Sock you into next week” doesn’t flip perfectly but it’s pretty close. Pretty good overall)

ur a nerd that’s wack.. so while u say u grippn steel we kno u aint hurlin macs..
it’s a disturbing fact.. ur just a clown out of cannons & we all can see the circus act.

(Air tight wording again for almost the whole bar. I think when you get to the punch is where your wording is getting slightly sloppier. Specifically “just a clown out of the cannons” is perfect wording for the circus meaning of it, but it would be sloppy wording to describe the other ‘he’s a clown without the guns’ meaning. This held back a lot of your bars from being haymakers imo)

Get popped and shamed, ya whole block of lames are gettin rocked & maimed..
shotgun to the chest.. see ya ticker sweep across the room like we were at the stock exchange.

(Lol this is dope. Add in all my previous feed bout your wording being crisp lol. Didn’t know what ticker was heart before now but ay - can’t fault a good vocab. Clever flip)

yes i’m THAT dude, ur a fuckin twat.. whoever said u the man just lied bitch..
i’m a baaaaad MF.. your a bad M/F too cuz u dont know what gender u want to identify with.

(I like that you’re thinking outside of the box, but I think this is a stretch. It would only work if you aren’t reading the bar amount load. Then you got MF instead of MFer which was a slight stretch and “bar m/f too” which is another stretch. I like the idea but I didn’t care for the bar)

So this was a dope battle to me. Straight punches - like I like - and turned out to be a straight barfest.

This one is close to me because I got them both having success in different areas. For Zelph it was his consistency. Zelph didn’t miss a punch. Closest thing he had to a miss was the Sidney whiplash bar, and reviewing the battle, the critique I had for that bar (that the flip doesn’t work perfectly both ways) kinda plagues some of resins bars too.

Resin, on the other hand had the higher highs. Zelph might have had lotb with the 40 in a disc bar but resin had 2 of the best 3 bars. That’s t1000 is elite writing. Then the stock exchange bar was a haymaker - shit was slick af.

I think resin has really good wording in his set ups. I’m a fan of long bar, but I think his multis and in rhymes make that long bar style more palatable for the rest of the Netcees crowd. On that same note, I think zelphs execution and wording was elite here as well. Neither guy wasted as much as a syllable. I think wording was pretty equal, just zelph had short bars and resin had long ones - pretty equal though.

As I alluded to earlier, I don’t think resin had the same level of consistency as zelph. He had a couple misses/okay but I also think he got a bit sloppy wit the wording in his punches towards the end of some of his punches (I noted them in my feed). I think this one comes down to how you judge one or two punches and if you prefer consistency to big moments. I think resin was ahead on big punches but not way ahead, whereas I think zelph had a solid margin in consistency.

Good battle here. I went overboard with the breakdown to overcompensate for my lack of voting.

Anyways mvgt zelph

Good work fellas
