Hard choice here... Training day is a fantastic film an I do enjoy American gangster but had to opt for
Man on fire (just a better version of taken.)
Book of Eli (Gary Oldman and practically fallout in film)

Ray (just really enjoyed his portrayal. Tad long. Not a rewatcher)
Colleteral (bad as Michael Mann film that has la noir undertones and tbh made Tom cruise actually quite cool)

blood diamond (Solid af film)
Shutter island (one of the best books brought to the big screen by the genius scorcese ruffalo an caprio)

Drive (best neo noir in a long time)
Fracture (with Anthony fucking Hopkins)

Lincoln lawyer (just enjoyed this. Have no real solid backing.. Dallas buyers club probably better)
A time to kill (brilliant film capturing America's southern racism)
