because being competent at guarding all positions isn't the same as being top tier great at all 5 positions
a great pg can still beat him, and a great center can still get off on him down low. but the fact that he CAN guard those positions, and not be exposed is the whole point of the argument. he can regularly pick up those assignments and be above average, even though he has no business being able to
