I personally think somewhere in the 300s is a good limit; 12 pages a day for 31 days is 372 pages, which is (should be) doable for anyone. but in general don't let length deter you, just pick something you wanna read.
and also, appreciate the discussion about Between the World and Me, props to everyone who read it!
