They're both strategists. Joe was smart. If there was any potential to Drake dropping(which he hinted at somewhat) anything against Drake is an uphill battle when responding to him, just the name of the game. Drake is a baiter and waiter...he actually might have wanted Joe to do this. Joe knows this, whether he gained momentum or was given it is speculative.

Honestly I think Joe looks desperate to me. This is a similar move to Canibus going at Em. For a beef to transcend hip hop, both artists have to be poppin. I think that's why Jay vs Nas n Pac vs Big were classic beefs. All of them were truly in their prime when their respective beefs went down.
