Is text battling dead?

[Split Eight]

1) encourage everyone on the site to text battle again.
2) like we have a huge number of people that clearly are willing to lemming sprint behind whatever the 10 legitimately interesting boarders on here do. Most are here for entertainment and are somewhat open to the idea of insult rhymes
3) put up with the newfags and try against veterans
4) STOP RUNNINN STUPID FUCKING TOURNAMENTS, AND PROMOTE THE LEAGUE EVERY FUCKING WEEK. TOURNAMENTS HINGE ON ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS. THE SPRING FLING XXCVXX WILL NEVER BE SUCCESSFUL
5) dont give up after a week

I remember when I joined back in the day. Like. A fucking year ago. And even then the discussion board was mostly text or rap related. Ill nik-a handing out pink slips was a legitimately big deal. People cared about battles.

Honestly, and no offense to any mods, but the battler mods have been half-assing at best.

I can't remember the last time something was promoted, or even a single battle happened in the Battle Arena


It's not that hard guys. If you build it, they will come. Because you would all enjoy it if people started trying again but no one is willing to start lol
