Season 3 playoffs

Basic rule: If you want to be in the playoffs, you are expected to vote on at least one Week 16 battle. I will not let anyone into the playoffs who fails at this exceedingly simple task.

Now, here's what we're looking at for a timeline of the first round:

• Monday, June 16: Week 16 battles and playoff sign-ups will close.
• Tuesday, June 17: The bracket will be set.
• Thursday, June 19: First-round battles will be set with phrase topics.
• Saturday, June 21; or Sunday, June 22: The playoff magazine will be posted.
• Thursday, June 26: First-round verses will be due.
• Sunday, June 29: First-round votes will be due.

I'm planning to give a little extra time to write and vote throughout the playoffs.

These are the people who can sign-up, with names bolded after the initial sign-up and italicized after a Week 16 vote is cast and asterisks after those competing in Week 16.
