Platoon's engaged with the transgenders and gays
Homophobic fears surround every hero's embrace.
They fought for our freedom now semen's engraved
into every medal of honor that was given on stage.
"Don't ask don't tell," was the motto, fuck yolo
"send the faggots in first! let 'em die, Solo!"
Now we see veterans sporting a polo in photo's
and knowing their gay just publicizes the logo.
Hyprocrisy at it's finest wouldn't you agree?
That a gay man can die for a country but can't live there free?
From mortars to landmines to verbal insults and attacks,
Now half of those happened after coming back from Iraq!
Live and let die but stop the patronizing remarks
because a veteran's bite is a lot worse than your barks.
I say we stand behind the men and women who defend the ammendments
And thank them for their duty despite their sexual preferance.
A veteran shouldn't have to hide because of a judgemental community
we should all take the opportunity to grant them impunity.
A person who risks their life to protect the freedom of expression
Is a hero that shouldn't have to live in fear of a question...
