they bait us.
they fast n' pace us.
they laugh cuz they hate us.
shackles abate, debate, perforate us.
leave us as half of ourselves.
a past someone else.
a rash under the belt.
a brash son in a cell.
he gets his way, lets loose the wrath of all hell.
thats them. torture incarnate.
the fortune of bar fucks.
the orator of hard luck.
the arranger of awe struck.
now come the watchers in awe some.
they stare. point. gawk in fun.
you want reprisal. there falls none.
we are alone in the gallows.
yet they call us.
