he's based on the wandering Yagyu Jubei Mitsuyoshi (i don't know how to do accents), anwyay, so it doesn't matter. i've seen Ninja Scroll like 5 times. it and Akira (avy check) are two of the best feature animations ever.

Bio Hunter is cool but doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the above two. also Neighbour you used to have a Rurouni Kenshin gif in your avatar.
