When I'm in a social situation wherein I'm surrounded by white people and rap is playing I say all the n words with a hard -er

when i'm in a social situation wherein i'm surrounded by white people ('rap' or THE HIP HOP would never be playing) i ask myself why... then remind myself university is probably a good thing and i shouldn't alter my intonations to stand out less because i stand out, even if the heightened attention is disquieting, yet a subtle change in register is permissible.
