yo like a deep song i find now-a-days that's on the radio is Same Love by Macklemore lol Macklemore really isn't mainstream but he makes music ppl can feel w/o selling out for a quick buck. Budden's done it a cpl times now & his lyricism's cool, but there's a bunch of rappers who apply to adults, like Jay-Z always been a rapper w/ a maturity to him, i like(minus the Biggie "dedications"). but jigga made rap more-so into a business. him & Diddy turned rap into just way more than art or progressing musically (w/ the ways they've made money or sold stuff), so some dudes see it as a way to get messages heard and some see it as a way to make money. funny tho is that the ppl w/ messages rarely get on radio anymore since like mid 2000s while rappers wanting $$$ always on the radio. budden has made both sides of the spectrum but he already peaked (musically & commercially) & won't progress in either side cause he's just too boring tbh. like he ran his "gimmick"(i know its not a gimmick but like his character of who he is) into a brick wall. it's like fucking w/ a boring, shy girl who is a painter or something like that, u just lose interest

Are you seriously trying to say Macklemore isn't mainstream? That's the dumbest thing I've read on this board. You, sir, are out of your depths.
