I see the prophecy.. I see it written on a stone
I see its future on the calendar.. but I'm not to pursue its legacy
So now I'm announcing the newest challenger.. it's me in a duel with destiny

Don't know my direction.. don't know the way the glory game go
But when my heart controlling my perception.. I see a soul-prone to change the story fate wrote
And I ask it if it tells lies.. or if it's speaking truth

Didn't heed its advice, tried seeing with eyes.. but the image all blurry
Judging the image on the mirror.. and the image on the mirror's not worthy
If only life was all an act.. you could keep wishing on sequels
But you gotta live it while you got the chance.. admire it while the little stars twinkle

They see that no is around, so it doesn't make a sound.. forget the eyes
If a blind man never knew the sun, or he never knew his son.. would that be the proof they never shined?
Even if you don't expect it.. hopefully it gives your skin warmth
