the hyksos were the 16th/15th dynasty who conquered/took over in 1600ish bc the great pyramid was built by khufu in 2560 bc also hyksos was literally just the term for "foreign rulers" which makes sense since the hyksos came and took over/ruled. while they were written as asiatic, in egyptian terms that literally just means east of egypt, and technically the middle east is asia. even turkey is asia but word.
