so i got some junk mail today, one is from a dealership, with a scratch off type thing, and long story short i allegedly won 5000

now i'm sure this is just some scheme to get me to go to this dealership, but i was wondering the validity of this and what it is exactly.

do i get 5,000 off of something? it says the odds are 1 in 50,000 to get this and i got it. but are those odds meaning that 50,000 people got this same winning ticket, and i basically just won a raffle ticket? I'm going to call monday i guess

just wondering if any of you know anyone who's actually randomly won money, because im guessing thats never happened since money has existed

I got one of those things before. It wasn't the same one, it was a scratcher to make a poker hand, and I scratched off a royal flush. Went to the dealership, and they tried to sign me up for all this shit and I was just like, "Nah, I'm here for the cash prize."

They ran my ticket number on some database, and it said I won a $5 target gift card.

I'm pretty sure that was the lowest thing they offered, but hey, free $5 at target. And I was in and out in like 10 minutes. I'm cool with that.

they wouldve been disappointed because i've tried to buy cars from the shoddiest we accept all credit type places and was turned down lmao. but yea in the fine print it says chances of winning 5000, 1:50,000. etc. but i was wondering if that meant its 1 in 50k that you get the ticket, or 50k people get the ticket and only one wins lol

but word its nonsense i was way too stoned. havent smoked in forever and let my mind get excited lol

also 49,000:50,000 odds of winning a free vacation. and that free vacation is just a paid hotel stay, not travel, not anything just 3 days of a free hotel and you gotta pay 50 to get it.
