Viper

Blades shiver with shades of blood and unquenchable thirst.
Enemies cower at its unholy blade, and flinch from its curse.
No peaceful thoughts, on either of our puzzled minds.
Troubled times makin every single thought do double time.
The destroying force is back to let nature run its course.
Skin was coarse, not ready for the blade beside his horse.
I fell to the ground, his horses legs already being sliced.
As his sword enters my muscles, all I am seeing's Christ.
I put use to my dagger as It digs into his free willing hand.
The time has come, but I can't escape or flee on command.
Understand i'm doing my best but i'm too weak to proceed.
But he's overpowering me, it's hopeless cuz i'm bleak as I bleed.
Then a sense of strength comes as he's about to finish me off.
Getting up I hit him in the jaw as he spits blood and coughs.
I grab the sword and try to end anything that he ever had.
Push the blade down, barely missing this very clever lad.
He steals it from me, sending it through my hollowed out chest.
The end of my life, he took my spirit as I swallowed this quest.
I look down from Heaven, and I can only reminisce of breath.
With my family now, but my life only exists out of death.
