Im making a new thread about captain phillips

What I thought about the movie:

the acting sucks, there's no action in a supposed action movie, with terrible acting

the movie is too long, and there's no excitement

also the dialect used didn't match up with the scenario or temperament of the mood at times

It was poorly written, almost like it was rushed. the main pirate had charisma but that's it really

From the trailers I expected this to be R. I'll check it out on prime wire eventually for free instead of paying for it lol

I thought it was pretty good... not ground breaking, but was interesting and it held me the whole way through. I'd give it 8/10

I agree. Main pirate stole the show. I thought the dialogue between the captain and his wife in beginning was awful though.
