2013 Thunder? They aren't historic in any way plus would Perkins suit up for both squads?

2012 Heat vs 1996 Bulls would be great matchup.
2008 Celtics vs 2013 Spurs
1985 Lakers vs 2011 Mavericks.

You can do better. Try again later.

I really would love to see that 96 Bulls vs. 01 Lakers. People automatically give it to the Bulls, but nobody has been as dominant in the post-season as that Lakers squad (only dropped one game, and that was to their weakest opponent). MJ was the man, but imagine Luc Longley trying to guard Shaq? Scottie/MJ would have done a good job locking down Kobe though. Idk, would be a great series, 7 games imo.

I don't see kobe, ric fox, fisher, brian shaw, or anybody else on their squad stopping Jordan from droppin 60 whenever he wanted

Maybe Kobe could have held him to 40

hard to go against the Bulls in that scenario, but that Lakers team was something special. Plus, you have to know that whoever guards Kobe for the game (either Pippen or Mike) will be seriously hampered on offense. That's basketball 101, make the star player play tough D to tire them out. Even then, Kobe would have been getting his, and they had strong perimeter shooting to kick it out. Plus the Phil Jackson vs. Phil Jackson coaching chess game would have been a mind fuck.

Kobe wouldn't have guarded MJ. Phil would've known better lol

*except in the waning minutes of the game, they'd both probably want to guard each other.

yea I agree

so who's stopping jordan?

Pippen IS stopping 2001 kobe

and then you got jordan, longley, rodman swarming shaq

Lakers had a stable of role player tho

but star wise I think bulls >

it would come down to the role players if the lakers win. horry would have to let em fly

fox wouldn't get off on jordan tho
