Resume Tips

Well i was informed recently that the sht im doing @ hospital will count toward my community svc and as internship hrs..so i will not be getting paid..but i need the community svc hrs for legal, and internship hrs for school, so thats still very beneficial to me.

and yesturday Unemployment called me saying i need to post up my resume for 'work registration' or w/e.. for htem to complete my claim

since my old computr broke (been using a tablet or my phone - both kinda suck to type on imo) I no longer have a copy of my resume, sso now i need to create a new one...

what do u guys include in ur resumes? like what do u think are key highnotes?

ill post my resume when complete if wanted. Imma prolly do it 2marow...but im curious as to what yall think are key point n sht...so opinions are welcomed...

I owe unemployment 2500$ from a 'fraudulent claim' i filed n collected on like 4 yrs ago (which im appealing)...so i wont b getting paid from unemployment for like 2.5 months lol ( @Genocide n @Strikta - bc we've spoke on this claim b4)..good news is in that 2.5 monthss Unemployment will reimburse itself, so although im not making money, im 'repaying' a debt that coulda caught me a federal charge..so thats good i guess...

but yea..i mean i know what i needa do...im just curious if u guys do anything i don't.

just tailor the shit you put on it to the skills that the job is looking for. I look at a job application like this: I'm creating a narrative that builds up to the destination of the job I'm applying for. I want the path I've taken to be evident that it leads to this job, and the journey here has bequeathed several invaluable skills learned in various contexts that will transfer over. It's always helped me kill it in interviews, too, since I pretty much have a roadmap of what I'm going to say and how I sell myself.

word @oats...this is just an overall blanket resume tho..not tailored for a specific position...just like work history...job duties..dates of employment...then academics...but i do feel what ur saying if this was for a specific postion, id agree.

Overall blanket resume really means self inventory
all the facts
any you cant find Make it obv you cant find it yet and continue looking for it, fill it in when you have it.
etc etc

Then choose what to include off of this master list when you tailor your resume.
each resume should be specific. like, your resume should reference the company you are applying to, that's what I do. It shows you give a fuck and you are serious.
