the pming mod shit should be done away with from now on. make people drop verses. none of these shitty wins where they pm numbers or no show verses. get rid of the mods taking verses. encourage people to drop their verses. we're in a mindstate where the battle doesn't matter anymore. it's sad. we need to get back to dropping shit on the day threads are up or the day after. if ppl can't pm verses it forces them to post SOMETHING. none of the 'oh i wont post first cuz then my opponent knows what to drop to beat mine'. just drop ya lines n bounce

Nobody wants to write a verse just to have their opponent noshow and have the whole thing go to waste, never to be read.

people say they don't wanna 'waste' a verse? the fun of battling is the writing. you should WANT to write for every battle. if you enjoyed the creative process it wasn't a waste. If you only write for the compliments and the votes you're doing this for the wrong reasons lol

Lolwut? Maybe for you, but some people have the drive to get better and therefore, want criticism on what they can improve upon for next time. Of course it's fun to write...but if you wanna write just for the 'creative process,' don't join a battle forum. Pretty simple.

Yeah, to be honest - I think a big part of why I've always enjoyed battling is because of the competitive aspect. Of course I want to win my battles. Otherwise, I would've just dropped an open mic, or wrote a song. You can't possibly tell me that back in the SV days, you didn't care about winning or losing?
