"Scorpion Trapped in an Hour-Glass"

My persona’s bitter with humor, gasping a sour laugh,
Cuz all I sea is dead coral, I’m trapped in an hourglass,
I’m stuck in moments & trapped to timepieces
So being restrained IN minutes is my prime thesis
Redefined in each twist of plot, is sickness satisfied,
The second hand chases me within this labyrinth I’ve
Constructed with flashbacks, something to laugh at
When a thought from today starts bumping the past back
Jump in the back, ack, stay there & don’t bother the present
Please let my new memories be proper descendents
of thoughts, cause chilling moments’ll climb up my spine next
Meaning, Frigid Memories, keep ya ice of my Timex
I can’t fight off the prime threat, can’t seam to forget
Nostalgia’s a painful surgery with the bleakest forceps
From the streets to the shore, set to count the ticks
The weight of that total’s so high, I got, pounds of it
Used to be, proud of this, this man was moved by passion
Now the Sundial has bruised my Mask with moods of acid
Confused and Basking in pools of ash, sit nude and asking…
Why, the alarm doesn’t Ring, she still Wears It, but why?
I don’t care much so I sit Bear of Disguise preparing to die
The Glare of the times, a Movie I spent Blindingly fast
Now Suicide & Depression are of my Smiling Cast
A Mold around my Broken soul, I just joke and show
That I’m kidding, then write THAT note then Flow…
It Almost came to That, so close, except she dialed
now my Neck isn’t the one that’s next to Smile
Cause she confessed that while away she wished to reconcile

Here’s solid proof that solitude brings problems through to me
beautifully maneuvered seams sutured me in cocoons of dreams
A monsoon of streams, burst the dam, I write cursive plans
In hope the church of damned men, can nurse this man
Back to a foothold, back to a crawl at least a college geek
But she puts a pause in speech, I won’t rise, so solve my yeast
Resolved and seated in chairs, breathing impaired, see the despair?
Hearts needing her care so bad, my lungs start squeezing the air
In the dark, eating a pair of emotional traits, such as personal hate
And a nervous escape from guilt is what this person will make
Hurting I break myself, into a human jigsaw, puking his gal
Tying a noose with a song, confused & in awe cuz Cupid IS wrong
