just to remind yourself what you are/were like, but sometimes read something back like holy fuck i forgot i wrote this, in part because it's excellent, and in part because you genuinely can't remember writing it? as if i've bordered on auto-writing. this is especially weird for me because about 85% of what i write i commit to memory. it makes me wonder about the process of inspiration - and actualizing it.

i'm presumably a better writer than i've ever been, if less prolific creatively, but idk man, some of my old (but not too old) writing makes me question even that.

it doesn't really matter, either. you're probably not reading battle verses from '09 like yea i was slinging straight heaters in the league that year nobody could touch me except for those swayed hate votes. and on the other hand, art isn't a well that ever runs dry, despite the artist's struggle.

but yea. shit is weird.

I do this yes but even more intriguing is when I read old threads and posts I had made years ago...its interesting to see how my sense of humor and or personality has changed slightly with age. a lot o times I read posts I forget typing at all and think...man how did I even come up wit that lol
