think about it like this. 6 months or so ago she was prob still too young to legally give consent to an adult.

other than the law, what changed about her mentally in 6 months that a man in his 30s wouldn't be considered predatory to sleep with her...

This isn't true. Legal age of consent across most of the U.S. is 16. An adult in power or authority is subject to statutory laws, (cops, teachers, etc) but unless you can prove a situation in which control was exerted on the minor with the threat of consequence, then even without parental consent, statutory rape will not be charged.

Not saying it isn't "gross"...just that she would of been old enough to legally consent already.
