Default -If I Die Tomorrow-

if I died tomorrow

if tomorrow was my last day
what would you remember me for?
my will to fight for my rights
life, and happiness? or
would you look down on me
without a care of everything I tried to do
from making you proud of me
and turning all my lies to truths...

my grave is empty, just awaiting my casket to drop
ill be buried in my own regrets and drastically rot
life was easy as a youngin but the moment you grew
it took all your optimisms and stole it from you
miracles could only work if you pray
but at the end of the day, what could you really have to say?...
we all want to hit gold, but we soon realize
that everything you chase couldn't be caught in real life..
it's like when you was 8 n ya parents said "santa doesn't exist"
your heartbroken.. and ya cant stand to come to the grips
that every ideal would soon just combust in its magic
you open treasure chests now and see nothin but plastic
if I had one wish before I die, id wanna make wrongs right
and face every kid in hunger and say "it's all right
all you gotta do is dream, believe and conquer"
if I die tomorrow, at least I know that I did what I could...

if tomorrow was my last day
what would you remember me for?
my will to fight for my rights
life, and happiness? or
would you look down on me
without a care of everything I tried to do
from making you proud of me
and turning all my lies to truths...

my goal in life was to succeed and put a smile on a childs face
be happy, stupid, foolish and live the wild way
but things happen faster than the snap of ya fingers
and ya joy could turn around soon as the tragedies linger
we gather as one, and we crumble together
because we know as time goes in in life that nothin gets better
its complicated.. but sometimes walkin towards a steeple is harder
but its also sad to whats happenin to people like Garner..
if we could turn the tables, reverse the roles and restart
we could right our wrongs and repair what has torn us apart
as a human in this world, its too depressin to live
we cant try and speak for ourselves with no message to give
or maybe its me... maybe im not seein things like I should
but im just done with seein murders from kids in the hood
we can all succeed.. as long as we dream, believe and conquer
if I die tomorrow, at least I know that I did what I could...

if tomorrow was my last day
what would you remember me for?
my will to fight for my rights
life, and happiness? or
would you look down on me
without a care of everything I tried to do
from making you proud of me
and turning all my lies to truths...

this was sick, good tight flow, good message, deep, reflective, thought provoking, but alot of it was depressing.
