Poetic

With the wind chill @ freeze & temp reachin' negative degrees
Got dressed with the long sleeves & wool socks to the knees
Time to hit the streets & start the car..man...its cold as fuck
Car buried in snow head to toe..late for work thats just my luck
Gotta rush on the freeway dodging trucks with my wipers stuck
Flakes piling up & visiblitiy not enough..damn this weather sucks
Wind blowin' plus my nose runnin' I should roll these windows up
Slidin' while low ridin' defrosting the foggy rollin thru the muck
Salt trucks are out but the roads are bad with ice coverin' all
Lost control crashed into a pole & this memory is all I recall

down in Alabama you cant predict the weather yo
it could be December or August, hot or cold, you never know

The first day the sun was really shining on me
Actually it had to be about ninety degrees
Next day was alot colder though, we sported coats
breathing in the air to see who's breath would show the most

Day 3: The thunder cracked with a roaring might
its like a horror movie, such a dark and stormy night
the lightning strikes again, but I won't play its game
cuz I'm staying inside, cuz i really hate the rain...

Day 4: it stopped raining, but its still windy
its a shame, though, cuz raincoats was gettin trendy
feels good outside, it'll be like this more I hope
this that weather when you can wear a T-shirt or a coat

Not like spring that makes you sneeze or winter that makes you freeze
I know it'll change soon, so I might as well enjoy the breeze
