Imo in text I just call a bar a complete idea, whether it be in one line, 2, 3, 4 or even more. but I have most skewed sense of rhythm, bars etc in text cause I know what they really are

Fyi a bar can be any length in music. 1/16 is a time signature, so is 32/4. (those were really short and long respectively)

And Aesop has some killer beats behind him. Listening to him is not bad for that reason if nothing else.
