NCG'S. Fact or Fiction: do paranormal activities truelly occur.

Have any of you ever experienced hauntings in the homes you grew up/lived in. I have. In hyattsville md (not far from where the actual events that the movie Exorcist was based on occured) I lived in a house from age 2-7. It was haunted by 4 ghost. One male, three females. The male.. which I had experienced visually was more like a residual haunt. The females were poultergeist types that would actually fuck with you and perform phyhsical as well as visual haunts on a more random and inteligent type of haunt.

My dad was born in philly, and then him and my gparents moved to hyattsville where they had my dads sisters. They all grew up there until my youngest aunt was 18. They spent a considerably long time in this house and everyone has insane stories. Stories of seeing things, hearing things, playing ouja by themselves aand receiving answers from the oracle. Even my mom, who I do not have a close relationship with because her and my dad split when I was 2 and he won sole custody of me, has insabe stories of this house.

Fucking nuts.
So what are some of yalls stories and experiences, or do you just not believe in this kind of thing and think its fucking retarded to even consider a truth?

Nope but the place I work at was originally an orphanage that housed children whom lost their fathers in the civil war mainly the battle of Gettysburg .. back then an orphan was usually someone who lost their father as they thought the mother couldn't raise a child on their own most of the time

But people swear and have even moved offices and quit because certain buildings are haunted by men and children looking for each other

I live near the proclaimed ghost capital of the world around this time Gettysburg thrives on haunted tours and Shit but I've never seen a thing just have gotten that weird chill feeling many times

I think it's very possible. I have a story but don't feel like typing it all out because I'm lazy. But there's so many forms of light our eyes can't see. Who's to say they don't take up that ghosts don't take up one of those forms?

did that 'shadow figure' move like really slow, like almost 'heavy' and lethargic? i know how it sounds - but i know 1 family member, 1 close friend, and 1 other dude that shared similar experiences at different times

often times seeing that shadow figure walk to places someone frequents a lot during a somewhat dark/down time in their life (not necessarily the person that sees it)

my dad is a hardcore believer tho. he used to live with his buddies in like this warehouse type building. he came home one day and the big german shepherd they had was clawing at the door from the inside, when my dad opened the door it barreled past him, jumped the fence and was OUT. they couldnt find him lol. that night he was in bed before falling asleep, and he seen the shadow of a dude at the foot of his bed, walk to the side of his bed and lean over him. he freaked out and jumped up, ran outside hopped on his harley in the rain and left. came back the next day for his shit and never went back

he told me that after i told him about my shadow dude

i think he was just fucked up probably. drunk, who knows what else it was the 70's lol

but he aint superstitious or anything like that but he swears by ghosts

i just dont believe in "ghosts"

i know weird shit can happen but i think its just the brain yo being a weirdo.

he won't accept the night terrors or whatever those are, like what ufo abductees and people have, the sleep paralysis and etc because he said he just laid down and wasnt asleep or woken up by it

but he talks in his sleep, and has a history of sleepwalking as well

so i think thats probably it

perception is reality in the end, i believe energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so i have no reason not to believe in entities which most do not perceive.

I'm open to believe it exists, but I don't think shit like this is real. Me and my buddies used to go ghost hunting in high school (Hawaii can be boring) at all the places where there's some kind of local lore/people swear they've seen shit etc, and did all the hubris type shit that's supposed to anger the spirits, and never once was there a remotely mysterious happening of any sort.

Though namix brings up an interesting point about the conservation of energy. It's far-fetched, sure, but still works as a theory under a scientific framework. It would be cool to do an experiment with people on their deathbed, see what the final physiological and biochemical changes are as your body transitions from life to death. If there are changes, you'd be able to measure the thermodynamics of it. Or maybe I just woke up and I'm high.

you are in a man made structure. there are pipes and electricity wired throughout it, those all make those meters go nuts. using shitty night vision a dust particle goes by the lens. OH SHIT ITS A GHOST ORB. oh we have this audio recording SHUT UP. i could be in a completely soundproofed room, record NOTHINGNESS. not even me breathing or anything, and i could normalise (boost the audio) and it will sound INSANE
