Madden 17

I played one regular play now type game offline. Worked fine

I started a franchise tho and i tried doing the weekly gameplan and it froze. Reloaded it and simmed that and tried to play a preseason game and again it froze on the loading screen

Any of you got it/having problems? Ps4 btw

wife's not happy but w/e i got a $1000 TV for $600. they didn't have the samsung 55" that was on sale and rain check says they'll match the discount on anything similar that's full price. got the match + 10% off via cartwheel + another 5% off for using target card.

i got the game working yesterday, somehow some save files got corrupted which was why i couldnt load up a game/practice/etc. but just unplugging the net and restarting worked

its pretty solid but yo, passing is way harder now. i havent played in like 5 years, but the D is ridiculous. by ridiculous i mean actually decent. i remember holding the ball and when the receivers finish their routes i'd roll right or left and the receivers would run with me, meanwhile the d would stand like statues until the ball was in the air. when playing zone i mean. but now they actually run with your receivers lol. i threw like 6 picks with flacco against the browns lmao. i'm also not sure if i'm a fan of the running game. where you randomly hit a button to break tackles. my response time is to stoned and slow to realize if i need to hit square or triangle etc. i jumped in playing all pro though i probably shouldve started slower

playing D is dope though

and in the passing games defense i lobbed a bomb to little steve smith, and used the aggressive catch thing, just holding triangle instead of tapping it and he jumped up and stole it away from the corner like a G.

so in essence i need to relearn this game. its alot more difficult than i remember

in franchise mode i just wish i had more scouting points for the draft. i think with expert scouting unlocked i could scout around 30 players fully, but the problem is it pays off to scout 1st round rated guys, because their true talent might be like 3rd or even undrafted. so basically after the first few rounds you are picking blind. i do like that they tell you though when you draft a kid its like blah blah is the 14th best player according to there overall, and you drafted him at #20 for instance i dig that.

but word i wish it was for pc so i could use cheatengine to give myself unlimited scouting points lol

trading is somewhat better too because its easier to see their interest in who you're offering, and why or why not other teams like them or not. its just clunky in the sense you cant quickly search, like if you wanna trade for a pick, the dropdown to switch between picks blocks out what they have, so you have to load in the bears fully, see they got the 9th pick, then load the browns in see they got the 7th. etc. instead of being able to see while scrolling through them.

all in all seems pretty solid though

if anyone has it for ps4 drop your gamertag thing, i don't have psn but i might get it

Uh oh youre scouting QB's right?

Started my Bears franchise today. No MUT for me this year. New apartment, higher rent. Can't be spending all that cash. Addicting as fuck game mode if you get into it, though. Beat the Texans by 14. All pro is too easy, all madden no fun. Will look for sliders. Traded Willie Young and a 4th for the Jets 1st, get Floyd some playing time.

Franchise is better than last year. Overall enjoying the game.

i traded everyone i could my first year, and cut everyone else, only keeping rookies lol. i simmed through the first season like a dummy though, i just realized playing this second season that you can scout rookies during the regular season, so all i scouted for my big draft was with the offseason scouting

drafted a bunch of bums

i'm 3-2 playing on all pro, my teams overall is 73 lmao

but yea i like building up from nothing. once the actual season gets rolling i'll probably start and play with the ravens though, in which case i will NOT be scouting qb's lmao

i was down 23-0 to nothing against the bills doing that "moments" shit, (i play 15 minute quarters normally with the sped up clock between plays so i can get real stats) but yea it was like 12 minutes left in the 4th and i came in and won. it was a hitstick fumble returned by correa for my first score, kicked off and literally the first play i strip fumbled the guy and returned that in for another td. then i stopped them with like 8 minutes left. my first play i tried to throw a bomb. got picked. stopped them. threw a td, did it again, and won basically.

felt like a champion. then i lost to the browns horrifically.

had ups and downs.

i was expecting to see skip tweeting about my comeback but he was more concerned with me resigning someone. fuckoff SKIP

The nice thing about being a bears fan is you start off the third worst team rating wise. I enjoy rebuilding as well. So it works out.

My dumbass did a Cloud franchise and I lost connection to the EA servers in the 4th so I get to redo the whole game.
