Rapid Drip

Rapid drip. Flow of water down the water pipe, somethings slips
water creeping down the drain liquids mix, its the cleaning agent,
plus the warmer ice, organized hands ... are close by.
Soapy water is applied, bacteria die. Hand soap was the cause,
"Warning may cause pain", reads the label on the box. There's a pause,
between each drip, its slower now, "Drip, drip". Its not as loud.
There's somebody now, eating chips. "Crunch Crunch Crunch", on the mouth,
there's crumbs of it. Lips open up, flecks of spit, fly out the mouth,
hit a little kid precisely, on the face. He's angry, no way to put it nicely,
He yells, and little mice flee. They run, scared, squeaking... meanwhile
the water pipe is still leaking. Water collects altogether in one spot,
one moment here, the next it drops. "Tock", the clock is ticking for a moment
in perfect symphony with the water drop, then its not. Life continues,
the building blocks are still around, bacteria are down, but still sticking around.
Drip once again no beings are present, does it make a sound? Anyhow its slower now,
everything's slower now, bacteria dying out, chip eater and mouse scarer are atoms now.
Light flashes like the original bearer of news, good or bad? Beings choose.
But without beings around, words lose meaning, and get confusing.
Words are merely descriptors, describing, the trip in perspective of observers,
life was the journey, and Earth was the vehicle, the drivers are in a gurney. Dead.
Seen through, the perspective of human beings, the drip is slower, times ticking
death is closer. Was death the closer? Cosmic hands are almost finished washing,
the drip has almost ceased, its imperceptibly slower. Suddenly something happens,
Human Translation: the drip is even slower, almost impatient.
Sadness or elation?
Epiphany, revelation.
Last drop dripping.
Cessation.
