wiley is garbage 94 percent of the time. he's got some heat...but you litterally have to dig through his tapes to unearth that shit.

If we're starting from a clean slate, 2016 only, I'm feeling Vic more.


The first 2 Chano tapes were dope. I wasn't feeling Surf, and that Gospel project he put out wasn't my kinda shit. It was cool though, just.. soft. This Vic tape has a good mix to it. I think his Traffic album is heading in the right direction.

And, yeah- Alex Wiley, he's a little strange man but, I fucks with his music.

I'm from Chicago and I know / have met / hung out with a lot of these people, and it's a little weird describing their music when you know their personality. But, yeah.

The last shit I heard from him was off of Club Wiley.

Apparently he's dropped two projects since, that I haven't heard. He's got a flow on him, and he has a good ear for picking out engineers. His engineer at Soundscape had him sounding cleannn. Eh, that was before the whole Closed Sessions fiasco.
