Since Ghazal's are traditionally written to themes of love, or metaphysical odes, I think we should do something like that, but with a twist. Praising Lucifer or something like that, or to get away from the Judeo Christian lineage, we could do Zeus or Odin if we want to capture the essence of Vikings. Or we could do a rendition of love to Medusa, or a rendition of love something similar to that of Thanos, the nihilist, and his love for the mistress of death.

Thanos in love

Existence has been, and will forever more
I've traversed centuries
Wondered bout aimlessly
Sensually seeking mortality
I've lusted for her lips...
Kiss of Death
But every galaxy failed me
She's yet to have her way with me
Still, her scent is aromatic
Each whiff heightens the want to be an addict
Her dark hair waves in the wind
Stars bow to it's tint
Contract and relapse til absent
Her sheen's so serene
Made up of wants and needs
A seductress of purity
Even at night she casts a shadow
My time here is endless
For every grain of sand that drops
Two arise
I've cruised the sky's in hopes to find
The way inside her open thighs
As we explode
I'd draw a final breathe

A god can dream

I'll try to drop something tomorrow man, if you allow it. I've just been busy, but honestly that still might not guarantee anything, especially for writing a ghazal. We'll see.

Sorry man I couldn't show, you definitely captured the theme we agreed upon, albeit perhaps not in a ghazal format. Still a nice succinct poem, a bit formulaic on the style you tend to go with, but everything flowed well. Would like to have seen you expanded on the topic a bit more. Anyways, just giving you some minor feedback due to my no showing. Take care.
