Bout to play some throwback SOCOM 3: US Navy Seals

I never got into the SOCOM series back on PS2, but I've been told from a couple friends that it's hella strategic & hard to beat. I've got part 3, & I'm bout to roll up then play it.

Anyone used to play this, & if so.. any tips or pointers?
