'Sup, y'all. This is Sn00p bringing directly to you the third iteration
of the infamous AOBL Text Battle League Magazine. And trust me:
It'll be the hottest one. And you know why? Because this league's
starting to run hot, too. Yes, we had a lot of noshows in the first
week, but that number has gone down drastically. And I'm positive
that it will decrease some more after this week. Why, you ask?
#1 Because I am motivated as hell right now. Which means Mags
will be on time and they will be dope. And why am I motivated?
#2 We've got some dope ass competition up in this motherfucker.
Just look at the match-up list and then tell me you don't wanna see
all of those battles to go down. This will be one fine week... but:
#3 It's getting even better. In Week 5 (which is a mere two
weeks from now), we'll hold the first ever AOBL Championship Matches!
That's right. If you wanna be in competition for the title, then better
start dropping dope. Because if you do, you might just find yourself in
a Championship Match in the best League the net has to offer now.

So without further ado...

Dominate vs. Grave Diggs {Dominate wins}
No offense to Grave Diggs, but this was a blow out. Grave doesn't
really know what kinda verses fly around here and though he had
some ... special sort of humor in his verse, he had no punch that
really hit his opponent. Dominate on the other hand showed he is
one of the dudes to have on your list for the first championship
match. His verse was very consistent and even his worst lines were
still not bad. He won in a convincing fashion and very deservedly so.

Line of the Battle:
As my sexy young ass zooms by you, all you do is drool fool, please get this guy a bib
Grave Diggs (vs. Dominate)

...no, but really:
& I can only start to describe how much ur a faggot that’s worthless
You wack, corny, lame as fuck... Engrave, - that just Scratches the Surface
Dominate (vs. Grave Diggs)

Jay vs. RPK {RPK wins}
Jay's verse came across as rushed here, and that's really a pity,
because his teddy bear line for example had some real potential.
If he actually spent time on his verses and started proof-reading
them, I could see him win some battles. RPK on the other hand
had a very on-point verse. Or rather, wording. His concepts tend
to be a little simple at times, but his wording is mostly there. He
said he keyed that verse, so maybe that's the reason why his
concepts weren't the most creative ever. If he really starts trying
against good competition, though, I can see pull off some upsets.
Here, he did enough to win and swept the votes, winning by KO.

Line of the Battle:
Ill smoke u in a gunfight,I'm liable to cap u bro
I don't care how big Jay Gats Be...he still a fag resembling Leo DeCaprio
RPK (vs. Jay)

Mac vs. bleak {bleak wins}
Mac seems to have a good grip of how concepts should look like.
Unfortunately, his wording is not as good, which makes his good
ideas come across kinda blandly. Since he does seem to have a
good understanding of what makes a punch, I can see him eleva-
ting, though. But here, it wasn't enough. Bleak actually surprised
me with very decent wording and some nice concepts. Both his
opener and closer were quite good. That's probably the reason he
ended up winning the battle quite comfortably, getting all votes.

Line of the Battle:
To the real Mac, you're nothing. Cause you don't land in spars.
Immaculate is at least twice the writer, and 8-10 times the man you are.
bleak (vs. Mac)

Beretta vs. megatron {Beretta wins}
Even though both are relatively unknown around the site, this
was a pretty good battle. Beretta just came out swinging with
a very solid verse that produced quite a number of hits. And
even though megatron ended up losing the battle, he definitely
impressed some readers with quality wordplay in his verse. His
closer especially was pretty good. In the end, most voters felt
that even though the two were even on standouts, Beretta's
just hit a little harder and that he might've had one more of 'em.
This was a good battle for sure, though. So watch these two!

Lines of the Battle:
throw a right & K.O. this rookie cuz my hand's remarkable..
so if u thought i'd slack cuz u're Neutron.. irony, ya still gettin smashed to particles
Beretta (vs. megatron)
You don't wanna box guy, I go ham after I down a gram of my spinach
If one land ur finished, I pop eyes n that a leave retina damaged condition
megatron (vs. Beretta)

Muff vs. Joe Boston {Muff wins}
Joe dropped worse than last week here in my opinion. Well,
the concepts were still there, but the wording wasn't. A lot
of his ideas were executed very blandly and that hurt him.
Maybe making his lines slightly longer could help. Muff on the
other hand had some long ass lines as usual, but still had the
hits. He ended up winning somewhat easily, getting all votes.

Line of the Battle:
Think your champing? For that youll need gods affection
I see u tryin to focus on ur "own goal"..no wonder ur always 'Heading in the wrong Direction'
Muff (vs. Joe Boston)

Hollywood vs. Boredom {Hollywood wins}
Boredom was actually not bad in this battle, but he had some
played concepts that really hurt him. Dope/Dohpe wordplay for
example is an absolute no-no. But he still had some concepts
that I liked, like the bore/wild line. If he can just weed out the
played bars and become a little more consistent, he's going to
be good. Oh, and if he starts voting, too. For real, homie, start
with that shit. Hollywood on the other hand is not only a very
consistent voter but also a very consistent battler. He has the
wording to make all his bars hit and he has the concepts too.
It showed again in this battle and he took it in not too close
battle, because he just had more hits and less misses, too.

Line of the Battle:
this rookie thinks he's nice? ain't nobody tellin 'em he's ill..
so WTF is Boron? cuz ya sure as hell don't have any Elements of skill
Hollywood (vs. Boredom)
