i know its kind of a useless shut down tho. basically all the unimportant aspects stop. people will still get social security checks, im sure active military is still gettin paid etc. im sure at the state level nothing is shutting down

but honestly i haven't looked into it too much, this is just what i've gathered from other people talking about it lol

all essential government programs are still going. veterans checks are getting delayed apparently, and the government is telling all the useless people on the teet not to come into work. all the bullshit politicians and etc

everything is the same

you just cant get a visa and move to america while its shut down.

obama signed off so military still gets paid, everyone is still getting paid, some shit will just be delayed (to veterans and other retired federal worker people)
