unforgiven. The mist clung to the air, I took a step to the gate but I paused Embracing the calm, looking forward to the pain I will cause I make my own rules- A man like me wasn't made for the law But I'm not a man I'm an artist who's rearranging their flaws I came for applause- I set the stage for the Devil's rage & leave an autograph that'll always last- That's your flesh engraved I wrote it beautifully- This is the most fantastic of scenes A moment of misery is but a second of sorrow that's cinematic to me Every cry is a symphony- Blood slowly drops & drips to the floor You scream & you shout, I applaud you for this composition of yours What could ornament this orchestra, maybe a trumpet played by an angel If they're calling for you, I'll make sure you get mangled with halos No regrets with the life that I chose, the decisions I make Not concerned with the fork in the road as long as the incision is straight The last stroke of genius- Be proud your body served as a canvass As I stand over in awe, another masterpiece, perfectly crafted |
