Word...it's dope to hear stories about dudes staying in school, and being more on a quest for knowledge--because they hear it on Wu Tang albums. I was more motivated to study and research things in life more because of hip hop, than any school influence ever did. 2pac speaking on "Machiavelli", Wu Tang with the art of war, Prodigy being the first rapper to ever mention "illuminati", etc etc etc --when I was a young inquiring little guy, all of those things were "HIP" to me, and studying what they were became routine--which made me conditioned to be someone who loves researching everything about nature and society.

So true, i didn't think of it that way, for me it was listening to Eminem and figuring out all his references and jokes, or playing Mos Def and not knowing HALf of what he was saying till i got to digging and digging. Or KRS-One basically blowing my mind lol good shit
